Refurbished David Peterson model FB/BS Solid Brass Quartz Carriage Clock.
This model, still in our range today, was the very first clock model designed by Peter Weiss way back in 1965! He used to manufacture this model from a small workshop in London and then in a garden shed in Reading before moving to his first factory, also in Reading.
The clock name simply stands for 'Flat Brass/Brass Sides' and is a nice simple design which originally had a choice of either brass or gold filigree glass sides and a small 'Swiza' style wind up movement. Nowadays, it is fitted with a modern quartz movement to give decades of trouble free and accurate timekeeping.
This clock has a traditional white dial with Roman numerals and black 'Moon' hands.
